Dad’s Hat Port Finish Rye Whiskey is a masterfully crafted expression that starts with bold Pennsylvania rye and ends with a smooth, fruit-forward finish from time spent in port wine barrels. This unique aging process adds a velvety richness and elegant complexity, making it a standout choice for connoisseurs and cocktail lovers alike.
Composition:
Distilled from a mash bill of 80% rye, 15% malted barley, and 5% malted rye. Initially aged in new American oak barrels before being finished for several months in port wine casks.
Alcohol Content: 45% ABV (90 Proof)
Tasting Notes: Red berries, dark chocolate, cinnamon, dried fig
Serving Suggestions: Best enjoyed neat or in an Old Fashioned with a twist of orange
